The York Manor Horseshoe League is a community of neighbors who gather to pitch horseshoes each summer. The league was founded in 2000 and has been meeting on Thursday nights during the summer at various backyard pitches. Each year the league culminates the summer season with a bracket style tournament narrowing down to a single champion to win the "Golden Shoe". Each year we also contribute to the champion's favorite charity. To date over $7500 has been awarded to worthy non-profits by the YMHL community! The league also coordinates a captain's choice golf game, and other outings. You can also read about us from a 2001 Towson Times article.
